Particularly suitable for fruit trees and bushes which have a high potassium requirement, tomatoes, vegetables etc. Organic sources of potash are non-existent and the best the organic grower can use is rock potash. It is produced by crushing rock and contains a nominal 10-12% K2O. It is ultra slow in action, a single application will remain effective for some time as it is very slow to form soluble forms of potassium. Rock Potash is suitable for all crops and is best applied in autumn of early winter to be effective – rate of application 100-200 gms./sq.m.
