This is a heat expanded mineral having purifying properties associated with Fullers Earth. Used for lawns to improve drainage it has water retention properties due to its sponge like structure and perfect drainage. Ideal for bonsai, alpines and cacti. Non - horticultural use as animal or cat litter.
