Description

Natural magnesium for roses, exhibition beds etc where pH is too low. 300g per sq.m. will raise pH approximately 0.5 units. 300g per sq.m. will raise pH approximately 0.5 units. Chemically it is calcium magnesium carbonate containing about 10-12% magnesium. This has the same neutralising effect as ordinary carbonate of lime but with the added bonus of high magnesium carbonate, therefore use . to 500gms. per sq. m. As indicated above. Fruit trees will often benefit from this amount but only if the soil is acidic. This is, therefore ideal to use on soils of low pH, which are deficient in magnesium. In the general case use in alternate years with carbonate of lime. The principal use of dolomite lime is in compost manufacture. Do not add any to proprietary composts or Garden Direct mixes as these contain sufficient already.

Contains high natural magnesium (10-12%) which is a bonus to neutralising effect for which Dolomite Lime is usually used. It is ideal, therefore, for annual application to roses and exhibition beds, borders where the pH is too low. 300g per sq.m. will raise pH approx. 0.5 units.
